GETTING INVOLVED

  • Host a booth. (THERE IS NO COST FOR A BOOTH)

  • Provide a safety demonstration.

  • Offer a free service at the event.

  • Contribute a monetary donation.

  • Volunteer

VOLUNTEERING

By volunteering your time and talents, you can help make the Vernon County National Night Out a success and strengthen the bonds within your community.

How can you help?

  • Present a safety demonstration.

  • Offer a free service such as an interactive game, face painting, a bouncy house, or other activity.

  • Assist in putting up tents, tables, or other organizations supporting NNO.

  • If you have a special skill or talent, consider a presentation.

  • Donate or lend supplies or equipment that may be needed for event organizers. ​

  • Parking Assistance.

  • Cleanup.

Volunteer Registration

HOST A BOOTH

A booth can be any tent, trailer, or activity that requires specific space to operate.

  • Each booth/demo should somehow relate to health or safety.

  • We encourage vendors to provide small prizes or school supplies for children. 

  • Each booth/demo MUST have an interactive or kid-friendly activity

  • Examples of interactive activities include yard games, face painting, puzzles, 
    coloring stations, a car seat safety demo, blood pressure screenings, and so 
    much more!

  • Remember that you MUST have an interactive or kid friendly activity at your booth or demo.

  • You will need to bring your own table/chairs/pop up tent if you need them.

  • Setup starts at 2 PM at the Fairgrounds on August 4th.

  • All vendors must be fully set up by 4 PM.

  • Email will be used to send you additional vendor information for the event.
